【摘要】:ThisclauseofPart1isreplacedbythefollowing.ThisInternationalStandarddealswiththesafetyofelectricinstantaneouswaterheatersforhouseholdandsimilarpurposesandintendedforheatingwaterbelowboilingtemperature,theirratedvoltagebeingnotmorethan250Vforsingle-phaseappliancesand480Vforotherappliances.NOTE101Instantaneouswaterheatersincorporatingbareheatingelementsarewithinthescopeofthisstandard.Appliancesnotintendedfornormalhouseholdusebutwhichneverthelessmaybeasourceofdangertothepublic,suchasappliancesintendedforuseinshops,inlightindustryandonfarms,arewithinthescopeofthisstandard.Asfarasispracticable,thisstandarddealswiththecommonhazardspresentedbyapplianceswhichareencounteredbyallpersonsinandaroundthehome.However,ingeneral,itdoesnottakeintoaccount–theuseofappliancesbyyoungchildrenorinfirmpersonswithoutsupervision;–playingwiththeappliancebyyoungchildren.NOTE102Attentionisdrawntothefactthat–forappliancesintendedtobeusedinvehiclesoronboardshipsoraircraft,additionalrequirementsmaybenecessary;–inmanycountriesadditionalrequirementsarespecifiedbythenationalhealthauthorities,thenationalauthoritiesresponsiblefortheprotectionoflabourandsimilarauthorities;–inmanycountriesregulationsexistfortheinstallationofequipmentconnectedtothewatermains.NOTE103Thisstandarddoesnotapplyto–appliancesforboilingwater(IEC60335-2-15);–storagewaterheaters(IEC60335-2-21);–appliancesintendedexclusivelyforindustrialpurposes;–appliancesintendedtobeusedinlocationswherespecialconditionsprevail,suchasthepresenceofacorrosiveorexplosiveatmosphere(dust,vapourorgas);–commercialdispensingappliancesandvendingmachines(IEC60335-2-75).
