【摘要】:ThisEuropeanhestandarddefinesthegeneralprinciplesfortheapplicationoftheTimeof-flightdiffracton('T0FD)techniqueforbothdetectionandsizingofdiscontinuitiesinlowalloyedcarbonsteelcomponents.Itcouldalsobeusedforothertypesofmaterials,providedtheapplicationoftheTOFDtechniqueisperformedwithnecessaryconsiderationofgeomeixy,acousticalpropertiesofthematerialsandthesensitivityoftheexaminationAlthoughitisapplicable,ingeneralterms,todiscontinuitiesinmaterialsandapplicationscoveredbyEN583-1,itcontallisreferencestotheapplicationonwelds.Thisapproachhasbeenchosenforreasonsofclarityastotheultmsonicprobepositionsanddirectionsofscanning.Unlessotherwisespecifiedinthereferencingdocuments,theminimumrequirementsofthishestandardareapplicable.Unlessexplicitlystatedotherwise,thishestandardisapplicabletothefollowingproductclassesasdefinedinEN583-2-class1,withoutrestrictions;-classes2and3,restrictionswillapplyasstatedinclause9.Theinspectionofproductsofclasses4and5wiilrequirespecialprocedures.Theseareaddressedinclause9aswell.

【摘要】:Thecodeaddressesconstruction,arrangement,protection,andspaceutilizationfactorsthatarenecessarytominimizedangertolifefromfire,smoke,fumes,orpanic.Italsoprovidesforreasonableprotectionagainstpropertydamageandavoidanceofenvironmentaldamageconsistentwiththenormaloperationofvessels.FundamentalrequirementsapplicabletoallvesselsarefoundinChapters1through8.ThesefundamentalrequirementsaremodifiedasapplicableforanytypeofspaceinChapters9through17.TherequirementsinChapters1through17aremodifiedasapplicableforanygivenvesseltypeinChapters18through20.Forexample,apassengervesselwouldfollowtherequirementsofChapter1through17andChapter20.Thecodeidentifiestheminimumcriteriaforthedesignofegressfacilitiessoastopermitpromptescapeofpassengersandcrewtosafeareasaboardvesselsand,wherenecessary,tosurvivalcraftembarkationstations.Thecoderecognizesthatlifesafetyismorethanamatterofegressand,accordingly,dealswithotherconsiderationsthatareessentialtolifesafety.Italsorecognizestheuniqueoperatingenvironmentofmerchantvesselsandtherelationshipsamonglifesafety,propertyprotection,andenvironmentalprotectionanddealswiththeseaccordingly.Wherepermanentlymooredandoccupiedasbuildings,merchantvesselsshallbepermittedtobetreatedasbuildingsandshallbepermittedtobesubjecttotheprovisionsofappropriatebuildingcodesandstandardsasspecifiedbythelocalauthorityhavingjurisdiction.
