【摘要】:1.1Thisguideestablishesaprocessfortheverificationofapplicationsoftwareusedtocalculatethemechanicalpropertiesofmaterials.1.2Thisguidehastwopurposes:(1)itprovidesguidelinesforcreatingstandarddatasetsforverifyingcomputer-generatedtestresults,and(2)itdescribeshowuserscanverifywhetherthecalculationsintheirapplicationsoftwareproduceaccurate,acceptableresults.Thisdoesnotensurethatthesoftwarewillproducecorrectresultsinallcases.Theverificationisonlyforthoseconditionscoveredbythestandarddatasets.Thisguideusestheconceptofstandard"datasets,"whicharemadeavailablebytheASTMgroupsresponsibleforeachoftheindividualstandards.1.3Thisguidedefinestheterminology,theformat,andtheprocessfortheuseofthesedatasetsandhowthedatasetsaretobeusedforverification.Itdoesnotdefinethespecificdatasetsrequiredtoverifyeachoftheapplicationstandards.Rather,suchdatasetswouldbecomeanecessarypartofthestandardandwouldbeclassifiedasanadjunctinaccordwiththedefinitioninsectionB29ofthe"FormandStyleforASTMStandards."Thisclassifiesanadjunctasanymaterialthatisrequiredforuseofthestandardbutisnotpracticabletopublishasanintegralpartofthestandard.1.4Inthereisanexampleofhowsuchdatasetswouldbemadeavailableforoneexamplestandard.1.5Becausetheverificationdatasetsarecontainedinfilessuppliedtotheapplicationsoftwareinthecomputer,thisprocedureonlyprovidesverificationofpost-testcalculationsperformedbythecomputersystem.Itdoesnotevaluatethedataacquisitionsystem,real-timecalculations,oranyotherpartofthesoftwarebeyondthepost-testcalculations.
