【摘要】:ThepurposeofthisTechnicalSpecificationistospecifyavalidationproceduretoshowifanAlternativeMethod(AM)canbeusedasanalternativetotheStandardReferenceMethod(SRM),bothimplementedtodeterminethesamemeasurand.Thisdocumenthasbeendrawnupforlaboratoriesworkinginairpollutionmeasurements(andconsequentlyexamplestakenfromthissectorareincludedintheappendices).Inparticular,thisTechnicalSpecificationprovidesthestatisticaltoolsanddifferentcriteriatoevaluatethealternativemethod;thisdoesnotreleasethepersonresponsibleforthisvalidationfrombearingtechnicalandanalyticaljudgementontheevaluationofthedifferentcriteria.Threestepsaredescribedinthevalidationprocedure:?descriptionoftheAMandsettingofthefieldofequivalence(rangeandtypeofgasmatrix);?determinationoftheperformancecharacteristicsoftheAMandcalculationoftheoveralluncertaintywhereappropriateandcheckofcomplianceofthemaximumoveralluncertaintyallowedfortheSRM;?checkofrepeatabilityandlackofsystematicdeviationoftheAMinthefieldincomparisonwiththeSRMforthetypeofmatrixdefinedinthefieldofequivalence.NOTESomepartsofthesecondstepofthevalidationofthealternativemethodshouldbeperformedbyarecognisedtest-house.IftheAMfulfilstherequirementoftheprocedure,thenthelaboratorythatcarriedoutthewholevalidationprocessisallowedtouseitasaSRMinthefieldapplicationwheretheequivalencehasbeendemonstrated.However,ifthevalidationprocessinvolvesatleast4differentaccreditedlaboratoriesperformingsimultaneouslyparallelmeasurementsinthefield,andiftheAMpasseswithsuccessallthetestsoftheprocedure,thenthismethodcouldbeproposedtoCEN,whocandecidetoconsiderthisAMasanewreferencemethod(ARM).Theuseofthisprocedureimpliesthatareferencemethodhasbeendefinedbytheregulatororinacontractandhasbeenvalidated.ThisTechnicalSpecificationonlyconsidersthecaseoflinearquantitativemethods.
