【摘要】:1.1Structuralsealantglazing,hereinafterreferredtoasSSG,isanapplicationwhereasealantnotonlycanfunctionasabarrieragainstthepassageofairandwaterthroughabuildingenvelope,butalsoprimarilyprovidesstructuralsupportandattachmentofglazingorothercomponentstoawindow,curtainwall,orotherframingsystem.1.2Thisguideprovidesinformationusefultodesignprofessionals,manufacturers,contractors,andothersforthedesignandinstallationofaSSGsystem.Thisinformationisapplicableonlytothisglazingmethodwhenusedforabuildingwallthatisnotmorethan15176;fromvertical;however,limitedinformationisincludedconcerningaslopedSSGapplication.1.3Onlyasiliconechemicallycuringsealantspecificallyformulated,tested,andmarketedforstructuralsealantglazingisacceptableforaSSGsystemapplication.1.4Thecommitteewithjurisdictionforthisstandardisnotawareofanycomparablestandardpublishedbyotherorganizations.1.5ThecalculationsandvaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Valuesinparenthesisandinch-poundunitsareforinformationonly.SIunitsinthisguideareinconformancewithIEEE/ASTMSI10.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
